Ben Stein who quote mined Darwin, who misrepresented the content of his film to the atheists he interviewed, and whose film led to one of the biggest creationist quote mines ever, with his "Dawkins believes life came from aliens" crap?
Because all that dishonesty is objectively true too, if you would bother to do any research into the background of this stuff before you assume it to be factual.
You should debate him?

Argument #1: Transitional Fossils

Debates aren't a very good measure of truth value.
I'm not sure how debating a Nixon speech writer, when the Nixon speech writer has already been shown to have made fraudulent claims repeatedly, would solve anything.
In fact, this seems like a hyperbolic non-response appeal to authority: The fact that you trust Ben Stein, an actor and political speech writer's subjective personal opinion and admitted interest in denying science because he believes it is "evil," over biologists, paleontologists, educators, and international scientific consensus, speaks volumes.
If you're not interested in the facts, what's the point of debating your subjective opinion?
Might as well go stand in the middle of a freeway while posting Argument #2: Automobile Forms Do Not Exist.

What subject?
If the subject is economics, history, US law, he'd mop the floor with anyone here with his knowledge of those subjects.
If the subject is religion, I can guarantee there are people here that know more than him.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Rev, can you at least tell us the subject of your second argument so we can decide whether it is actually worth engaging in

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

What qualification does this "Ben stein" have that makes him a qualified participant in a debate about science?

Why would I do that? Why would I debate a man who openly lies in defense of his faith, and what reason would I have to think he wouldn't continue to lie in a debate with me, if he would do so so readily on film? It's probably not much fun to go up against someone who'll make stuff up at the drop of a hat; maybe you should look up the "Gish gallop" to see how well that goes for people like me who are actually interested in the truth, rather than winning.
I will point out to those who have forgotten, though, that I still have a debate challenge open for you to take, Rev. That's because I don't think you're lying, at least not actively; I think you've been taken in by conmen and lack any interest in hearing how they have lied, but intellectual incuriosity and laziness isn't quite as bad a sin as outright dishonesty.

Honestly, after this, if argument #2 isn't a slow motion close-up looping .gif of a Bull defecating, I will be shocked.

It's been 5 days and nearly 200 posts since you declared yourself the winner and posted Yahya's masterfarce, Rev.
What could possibly be taking you this long?
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Harun Yahya, whom Rev still considers a "valid" source, despite the fact that I demonstrated that he can't tell an animal from a fishing lure designed to trick fish.
Because the guy who can't tell a living creature from a plastic one definitely knows more about biology than biologists!

Let me show you how the next thread will go without even knowing the topic:
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
