SoCal People: Everybody OK?

Things here are pretty bad right now. There are nine fires burning. I hope my fellow AF San Diego people are ok. As far as I know, there has only been one injury (sustained by a firefighter) and one cat has died. We've lost a lot of structures, including some homes of friends or acquaintances of mine, but so far it's been a pretty safe wildfire breakout. We're in a state of emergency, but this is old hat for most of us, so everyone is staying pretty calm.

I hate wildfires. We had them in Victoria really bad in 2009.

I'm still hibernating because of the heat, but my parents seem OK, but this seemed to have disrupted their schedule a bit, as they sometimes go further north in NC.

Been watching NBC 7 for most of the day, as they've been pretty much constantly in special report mode. Finally burned out on it and am listening to my spotify stash.
