I've known a lot of couples who met in church and remained abstinent until marriage. I take this article with a grain of salt as it appears a bit too general, asks the wrong questions (for example, titling it "evangelical" virgins but not parsing why that makes any difference), almost propagating the "us" vs. "them" mentality, when in fact, I doubt there are significant differences between religious and non-religious couples who do or do not participate in activities each finds mutually beneficial.
