God's "perfect" Plan

RE: God's "perfect" Plan
In order to live, you have to kill and eat some living being. yea thats really perfect...
Quote:Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends.

This is not an attempt to get anyone to believe in God it's a statement of what I believe to be true. I know you all think this fundie is delusional but time will be the ultimate judge of that.

So let's get this straight.

God doesn't interfere in our lives, then is going to come down and take all who don't believe in him to hell, and those who do to heaven - after providing no empirical evidence to accept him, or giving any insight as to which religion or denomination, if any, is correct.

You are right, I do think you're delusional, but some people want to be slaves and be subservient to an entity who needs worship. Good luck with all of that, I'm sure heaven will be a great place. It's also great that you have no issue condemning everyone who doesn't buy into your superstitious intolerant bullshit. I don't know of a more in-your-face contradiction.

Belief isn't a choice. Can you choose to believe in dragons? How about believe that you are a figment of my imagination?

Finally, when's this rapture supposed to take place? It would be an awful shame if I missed it.

God's plan is perfect within His own will. His will is not meant to control people it is however ultimately to bring peace to His creation to rid it of the evil that sin brought into His creation. The freewill you all want to so easily dismiss was given to His entire creation of beings and in that freewill there came jealousy and then hatered and this lead to not obeying God thus sin and the evil it brings.

Yes God knew before He created the universe that the fall of man would corrupt the creation however He desired to love man and have mans love returned to Him unconditionally, there was only one way He could accomplish this, that was to give mankind the freedom to choose how they desired to live their lives "freewill". Yes God would prefer that all humans live by His will, because He knows the better life it will bring to us, the choice is ours (for me I've decided to choose God's will for myself) and the atheist on this site have made it very clear you do not believe the claim that God exists so in that you have chosen to disobey God. The reason I believe that God knows what's best for our lives He is omniscient and can see down through the pages of history and see the results of our choices upon our lives.

God's plan is going perfectly He is letting history run it's course with all the evil and love that man allows to control our lives through the freewill man has and without His interference in our choices. Yet, your bible clearly states that God plans everyone's life from birth to death. Which means that you have no control over your life because he already has it planned.

It's also funny because Christians somehhow think that there's a plan, yet, they don't know what it is. How would they know that there is even a plan if they can't even show how his plan is even possible. His so-called, "plan" is contradictory.

I'm not condemning anyone I have no right or power to do such a thing. You are the only one who has the right or power to condemn yourself. God will allow you your choice.

Yes to both but here's a hint one is real and one isn't it's your choice.

Please show me the scriptures for your statement.

I believe I explained His plan in the above statement. If what you say about christians not knowing His plan, is true, then how is it you know His plan and can call it contradictory?
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

"You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" [Psalm 139:16]

The "Idea" of him having a plan is odd. Why? Because basically the idea of having any plan makes a little something called "prayer" become useless. I think contradictory wasn't a good word to use, but the idea of having a plan clearly makes prayer useless waste of time. Yet, people state that his plan and prayer are part of christianity, but they can see that it doesn't work. Rather, none of them have to be right because each make the other impossible.

Funny thing about that. History will do what it will without regard to your god. Your assertion of god having a 'plan' does not make it true.

superstarr I'm not sure which translation you are using the three I use are NIV, English Standard Version and New American Standard which is recognised as the best literial translation. None of them say anything about God's planning of ones life in Psalm 139:16.
The NAS translates the the verse "Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Thy book they were all written,
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them."
This verse states that God knew King David before he was born and that He knew the number of days he would live. The second line could mean that God had already written down Davids life even before he lived his life and this pertains to Gods omniscience not planning out his life. The other two versions read the same as the NAS. If you are using a paraphrase Bible you might want to get an actual translation paraphrased Bibles are a good read but not the best choice for study.

Prayer is a way of learning more about God and learning more about oneself, prayer is about sacrifice, prayer is growing in a relationship with God, prayer is so much more than asking God for things even though that is part of prayer. Asking God about things in life, in His word and ect. are much more fulfilling.

I will say this God has plans for the lives of people who come to accept His Son as their savior but even this does not mean God has planned every day of ones life. You do have freewill whither you like it or not.

Min isn't that what I said that God will let history run its course. That is part of His plan.
As for the baby killer I hope he gets the death penalty if Florida has one. No that was not what God wanted for either the baby or his killer that is the price we have to endure because of sin. It does not seem fair to me either but having sin and freewill in this world inevitably leads to great sorry and terrible horror.

That was extraordinarily contradictory. At least, for the real world. It was run-of-the-mill contradictory in your world.

How the hell do you know? You're the one who keeps insisting there is some secret plan? (You sound like Bush talking about Iraq!)

I think you are making this up as you go along, G/C. Not that you'd be the first.............
