Make sure to put timestamps on your list, and record how much time it took you to complete that task. Next time, try to beat that. Compete against yourself!

I only managed to clean up my room yesterday. Didn't do anything else really. Also voted for elections but that wasn't on my to do list.

That's ok for a day I'd say. If you put too much pressure on you and can't get done what you planned, it can lead to frustration.
