Hello. I regret to tell you that I believe in the other thread you resorted to using vile and foul language in an insulting manner which is totally against Forum Rules. Therefore, you are disqualified without even taking the Prequalifying Test to determine your sincerity.
I consider being disqualified by you evidence that I am doing something right. I told you to provide evidence or shut the fuck up. Apparently you have done neither.

I just decided that the truth on its own terms was more important than what I wanted it to be. Likewise the with the 'real' world, I decided to take it straight without any sweeteners.

All I see is a mammalian chassis with some souped up software. No more sign of a watchmaker than there is for an impala.

I don't believe it was created at all. As conditions change perhaps we'll see more modification in the same way that has brought us to where we are today. No interference will be required from either us or your imaginary friend.

No. Of course not. I have no bias to preserve on that score and I'm not bat shit crazy.

No, I don't believe in the devil. I don't have an objective set of morals I feel compelled to execute where every failing makes me feel like a piece of shit. Nor do I feel that I should. The amazing thing is that anyone does feel as you do. (It isn't natural.)
(November 23, 2014 at 3:01 pm)YouCanCallMeDave Wrote: 7. Are you 'an Atheist' because you don't see any evidence in the least for a personal theistic Creator?
Correct. If you actually had anything substantial I could change my position in a heartbeat. But I don't desire to believe in a god so I won't make any special effort so don't expect me to compromise my beliefs in the service of changing them. I see nothing attractive about what you believe. Really, quite the opposite.

As I've already told ChadW any number of times I can't conceive of a logical argument that would convince me that what we see can only have come from a cosmic watchmaker. What we see is simply what we see and we're in no position to impose necessities on how it got to be that way. All we can do is track the natural record as far as it goes and report on some of its history. Beyond that is only hubris and idiocy (the former in ChadW's case, most likely the latter in yours).
(November 23, 2014 at 3:01 pm)YouCanCallMeDave Wrote: 9. What bad experience have you had in a Christian Church or in Christian circles?
Once I accompanied my father to his church intending only to find some common ground. At some point the pastor guy asked a question (which I no longer recall) and I ended up saying that I was fine with believers believing but that I'd rather they worked less hard at proselytizing since the world would be less rich and interesting if everyone in the world donned a suit, picked up a bible and went to a church on Sundays. The pastor guy called me a snake. My only regret was causing my father some distress. But the guy was an ass.
(November 23, 2014 at 3:01 pm)YouCanCallMeDave Wrote: 10 . Which Sources have you diligently investigated on the subject of modern scientific evidences for a personal theistic Creator (God)?
None. I'm not invested in adopting this belief even though I stand ready to if you can actually provide any relevant and sufficient evidence for god. Otherwise, no big loss.
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to complete the PreQualifier . Based on your own admission(s) , you don't have the interest/willingness/or desire to consider anything else than your own religion of atheistic Secular Humanism and thus hold to an unchanging apriori-commitment to what is comfortable for you philosophically. Ergo, Im sure we both agree that you are not a qualified Candidate for the topic at hand. However, I do thank you for your time and honesty and if you know of Another who is a more open-minded Seeker then perhaps you will have them take the test also. I trust youre not upset with my findings as only roughly 1% of the Atheist Community ive engaged represent true open minded diligent Seekers without any bias. Dave.

You know, putting quotations around atheist and calling atheism a religion tells me all I need to know about Dave's mindset.
Full of claims and arrogance and accusing others of what he displays in his own posts.

That's why I honored him already with his own cat meme. Didn't take long to figure this one out.

No. , not yet. You see.....Im not like the other Theists who you run across --- I have adopted a new way of dispensing with the scientific evidence to Atheists. But it requires the atheist being qualified to receive it before I dispense it since precious few professed atheists really want the evidence / precious few wouldn't allow the evidence to have any effect on their apriori-commitment to atheism / precious few atheists arent willing to surrender their life to anyone else but themselves even if there was a Creator for the universe / precious few professed atheists aren't interested in the real truth and instead would never cash in their pseudo science beliefs / and most atheists enjoy playing a charade game with themselves as well as with Theists who are sincerely concerned about their eternity.
That said, I have an official QUALIFICATION TEST FOR ATHEISTS consisting of a few questions to be answered which are an absolute necessary mandate to determine IF the professed Atheist should get the evidence.
Now, the typical whining reply when I declare the above to an atheist is :' Awwwwe , you just don't have the scientific evidence to show us ' (and other similar hostile guff) . If the Person wishes to go with that then that is fine as I take a pass on them and encourage them to quit being idle about the most vital issue ever and to do a personal google investigation themselves for the evidences since its readily available anyway. For the Atheist who passes my Qualification Test, then it is that person who gets the evidence from myself which includes Me spending as much time with the Individual as he/she requires. But , what I refuse to do is to enter into a futile exchange with your all too common Atheist who is a complete time waster , not interested in truth , and is only interested in playing the charade of an atheistic worldview to bolster the many immoral lifestyles that compete for his/her enslavement. (aka : Total autonomy to live as one likes) .
This is my newest approach and its either my way or the Google- it -for -yourself Highway. Regards.

This is my final post to you . By your vile and hostile display of chosen language (which violates Forum Rules and the most basic common standards of respect and self control) , you would not qualify as a sincere bonified Seeker to receive the Evidences . Maybe now you have clarity on why I prequalify People of a certain populace. End.

Okay Dave, this is the last time I will say this. "Vile and hostile display of chosen language" is not a violation of Forum Rules. Clearly you ignored my last instruction on this. You will report Rules violations through the usual channels and let Staff decide if there is an issue for concern. If you do not acknowledge this message in your very next post, you will be reported. Now, on a scale of 1 to Ken Ham, how clear am I making myself?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

On a scale of 1 to Ken Ham, you are a Ken Ham . I fully acknowledge your efforts and desire to be a diligent Forum Moderator. May I please inquire as to the following ? :
a. Why isn't foul, vile, less-than-common appropriate Standards for decency , respect, and self control , NOT a violation of this Forum in the interest of civility and integrity ?
and/or
b. Why is it tolerated when the common mantra from the Atheist Community seems to be that 'Atheists have high morals and ethics over their Counterparts' ?
Thanks for your forthcoming explanation.
