RE: My naive questions
I just got to read his silly-assed questions and now he's gone.

Oh well. They'll be another along shortly and probably no smarter than this one.

I don't think he realizes he's been dismissed yet as his status is still replying.

How funny.

Maybe the staff could create a forum called "Hell" and cast all these assholes there...for fucking eternity.

I know he's gone but I want to address this. I will respond only to his "a", since only that has any bearing on the forum in terms of administration and the Rules.

We do strive to foster a culture of decency, respect, civility and integrity, inasfar as such things are concordant with free speech and the free expression of ideas. What you deem to be "foul, vile, less-than-common [language(?)]" is an inevitable part of that culture and no indicator of decency and integrity, in itself. We've had members threatening people with the most horrific punishments and diseases, all while using "standard" language with not a swearword in sight.. I apologise profusely if you don't like that - in the sense of "no I don't" - but that's what happens when you enter a community of adults.

What you don't get to do as a grassroots member is shut down that free speech with extremely dodgy interpretations of what the Rules actually say.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Obvious trolling is obvious when you consider the most uncivil and rude partner in these discussion was Dave himself.

What a loon.

Clearly you ignored my last instruction on this. You will report Rules violations through the usual channels and let Staff decide if there is an issue for concern. If you do not acknowledge this message in your very next post, you will be reported. Now, on a scale of 1 to Ken Ham, how clear am I making myself?

On a scale of 1 to Ken Ham, you are a Ken Ham . I fully acknowledge your efforts and desire to be a diligent Forum Moderator. May I please inquire as to the following ? :

a. Why isn't foul, vile, less-than-common appropriate Standards for decency , respect, and self control , NOT a violation of this Forum in the interest of civility and integrity ?

and/or

b. Why is it tolerated when the common mantra from the Atheist Community seems to be that 'Atheists have high morals and ethics over their Counterparts' ?

Thanks for your forthcoming explanation.

We're a community of adults who can swear and curse without the majority getting offended and running away/complaining.

It's one of the things that differentiate between us and religious websites: we can actually say what's on our minds without people screaming that we're possessed by devils/demons/small furry creatures from Uranus.

I have noticed that theists hate having their fucking god referred to as "fucking __________ " fill in the blank.

It's the main reason to do it. They love to demand respect for their bullshit and they can't handle it when they do not get it.
