I'm aghast to find myself with one more rep than you at the moment. Of course I did join the forums almost a month before you, about the same time as Rhythm. (That sure was a good summer for the forums, wasn't it?)

Seriously people. Restore some order to the universe and rep this dude a new one. (Do lube up first of course.) After all he is an admin as well as a mod, and I really think, the current heart and soul of this place. (Okay "soul" might not have been the most helpful choice of word but you know what I meant.)

What is this rep you all are talking about? I understand that it is connected to those green numbers. Do I get a discount somewhere if I reach a hundred or so? More interestingly: how do I get warning level? Now that's something that impresses the ladies (hypothetically)

I picked 'I'm fine.'

But seriously. Tongue
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Surpassing min on rep is actually possible in this realm of reality. Surpassing him on kudos, however, would require the heat death of the universe to arrive very, very late.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
