RE: Christians Unite
Yeah, what could possibly convince us of the truth of the bible? Hmmmm lets see.... No can't think of a god in the world who could do that.

Pull up a pew 'n' stop what you're doin', it's babble reloaded tiiiiiiime....

God wets his bed so bad he cries the rest of the day. He's welcome to come kill me or make me into a christian, or do anything to shut me up.

It's quite ridiculous to demand evidence when debating the meaning of some particular Scripture. What are we supposed to do, conjure the authors in a seance and ask them? That's about the only test I can possibly think of that could be devised.

Special pleading.

What about the human race makes you think it has any empathy or moral code whatsoever?

If the world had morality, you wouldn't have billionaires and starving children existing simultaneously. If it had morality, the Holocaust would've never occurred, nor would the genocides in Rwanda and Darfur or those currently being perpetrated by ISIS. The world wouldn't allow the existence of evil regimes like Iran or China.

No, the human race is entirely devoid of morality, as it has proven time and time and time again, without fail.

So the evidence that Voldermort and a wizarding school are real lie within J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series?

Especially when driven or motivated or supported by religion..as in nearly every one of those examples you gave.

There is the Jewish people, I'd call that pretty decent proof. What other people's fate has been foretold as has theirs? They have been scattered and gathered according to prophecy, and most recently after a 2,500 year hiatus. The story of the Jews is like the story of no other people on earth.

Of course, that doesn't qualify as proof by your standards, but none such will ever be provided, because that would defeat the entire purpose the Bible so explicitly lays out. To demand it is akin to demanding water from a rock - ain't gonna happen without God Himself stepping in.

Unless you repent of your sins and seek the Lord with all your heart and soul, you'll never find Him. Of course, only He can make that happen; you couldn't even do it if you tried.

Secular humanism.

Having religion in the world did not stop any of that from happening either.

Such an absolute is illogical for if your claim was true there would be absolutely no good in this world whatsoever. That there is good to be found proves you wrong.

So I guess the "anyone who seeks God will find him" thing is out the window, huh? He'll only reveal himself when he feels like it?

So you're saying you can't think of a single instance when someone acted according to an ethical principle without believing in your religious how-to book? Not one?

I don't believe you. I think you're lying for Jesus. Where does that fit into your so-called morality?

Yeah, yeah yeah...

If god wants to talk to me, I'm right here. Why not pray that he appears to me?

God sucks his own cock all day.

He's got a lot more patience than in the old days huh? He'd have fried my ass for such talk. Now not so much as a whimper. Keep on with your idle threats of his massive excel spreadsheet of sin though. For some reason, I'm not scared about that.
