Are those colour changes in the Anodizing vid due to the frequency comb effect of the thin layer at different thicknesses corresponding to the wave lengths?

Yeah. From what I understand, you can change the thickness of the oxidizing layer by regulating the voltage. You submerge the titania in an electrolytic solution like TSP (Trisodium Phosphate) and achieve the different colors as the oxidized layer thickens.
