Apartment has climbed into the high 70's. Ug... At least it won't get to be 100 degrees as forecast but it look like temps won't fall below 90 all next week. Maybe I'll take my cats to my parents' house so they don't overheat in my place...

It's 2015! Central AC has been around for decades!!! I have never owned a house/apartment that didn't have AC. What is this hippie madness in Oregon all about!?!? It's the smell of the BO that you like, isn't it? Tongue

Just got done watching a rather psycho Indy Car race (Fontana). Now, a FIFA WWC QF between host Canada and England. Pondering dinner.

Send me the money for the purchase and install of an AC unit and I'll get right on that Tongue

And congratulate me, SC!!! I just finished Game of Thrones!! I'm turning it back over to my friend and checking out book 2 tomorrow... Big Grin

Listen, I didn't say I'd buy you AC. I'm just saying this is madness. Even when I lived in Rhode Island the houses came with central AC.

Go on, gurl! Books two and three are action packed. Book Four is mostly plot, but my favorite.

You're looking at this all wrong. You wouldn't just be giving me money, you'd be making an investment in real estate. Wink

I'm kind of looking forward to book two seeing as how closely the show followed the first book. I'm interested in the differences between the two right now, and getting more of the back stories and stuff that had to be cut. Gotta say, tho, that I find the ages of the stark kids kind of unbelievable in the books. A 15 year old leading a host to war? I believe late-teens/early-20's-something Richard-Madden-Robb leading a host to war and same-age Kit-Harrington-Jon as a budding leader amongst the Nights Watch, but not 15 year olds doing those things. In that respect I think the show is a little more on point.
