Let's see. Here at AF I've been called a bimbo, been compared to the KKK, been cussed at, and been told I am not a good person. Didn't let it bother me.
But when someone who is my friend does something that I think was out of line, I say something. Perhaps you did not understand that the part that upset me was the friend having kudosed something that was clearly meant to make fun of me. I don't care about the making fun, I care about my friendships here.
Please don't say I don't have thick skin.
You're getting bent out of shape because an internet friend offended you by giving someone kudos. That's the epitome of thin skinned.

I won't deny I am sensitive when it comes to people I've opened up to. Doesn't matter if it's online or off. But that's not because I have thin skin, it's because I put a lot of stock in relationships of any kind. If I was thin skinned I would have left this forum a long time ago.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

With that being said, this is getting silly and I don't want to continue to make a big fuss about this.
And while I still think that making fun of "my beliefs" in the way it was done here is no different from making fun of someone's clothes and then saying "oh I wasn't making fun of you, just your clothes", I will accept that Kusa did not think about it in this way.
I harbor no ill will to anyone here and don't want to prolong the drama.

Too late to leave Cath. You're married to the mob!
You're even telling us how to behave (like a good lady wife!)
We will listen and be honest and respectful when having serious conversations, but you MUST let us do our "fun" things WITHOUT you spitting the dummy on us.
Pretty Please!

In the interests of fairness, I think someone should make a parody of me, my beliefs or one of my threads. Go nuts

I have to agree this thread looks like it's taking the mickey out of C_L a bit.
Having said that Jesus was most definitely hungry for The Sausage.

I'd love to Rob! We can all some fun with it, but our Internet_Wife will find a way to get upset over it!

Oh, no! Please - do. This is quite entertaining. You really are a great addition to the forum - I'm not even kidding.
I sincerely hope you whip Rob into apologizing for every post and every kudo you don't approve of.

I can't sing well enough to make a parody of your family guy thread.
