What state did you say you live in?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

We've got a mild climate, your choice of rural or city living, lots of natural beauty and variety. Politics are generally progressive, and people are for the most part very tolerant.

Define mild climate, Because the cold and me are old enemies. It is currently 95 degrees and I won't break a sweat in that unless I'm out for more than an hour.
