What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
RE: What do you know today that you didn't know yesterday?
Jesus provides pornhub to many Polish people: "statue of Jesus in Poland provides Internet to nearby villages by having antennas on his head"

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Today's British Royal Family is illegitimate and has been for like 500 years.

The current royal family is only like 300 years old?

To say they have been illegitimate for 500 years seems to give them too much credit?

Genetic studies suggest about 10% of children born into marriage were illegitimate, and the rate show surprisingly little variation across different cultures across the world, across social status and across times.    The typically person therefore has very high chance of finding multiple illegitimate direct ancestors within the last 10 generations or 250-300 years.

Apparently, it's been illegitimate since Edward IV who ruled about 400 years ago.

That was a different family.

Not that I like to disagree with Tony Robinson - peace be upon him! - but the legitimacy of the royal family is determined by whose bum happens to be on the throne at any given moment.

If he’s going to quibble about Edward IV being an illegitimate king, we may as well trace it back to 1066 when William the Usurper fucked everything that moved.

For anyone who watched Cartoon Network back in the day, the three main characters from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy are apparently all on the autism spectrum. And so is creator Maxwell Atoms.

I found this out while I was looking to see if there’s any page that lists fictional characters who may be on the autism spectrum but are never officially diagnosed in-universe. I could not find one. I suspect that If you combed TVTropes for all the work pages that linked to “Ambiguous Disorder” and parsed through all the characters whose oddities are consistent with ASDs, you could get a good start. Also, for what it’s worth, Wikipedia has a page for officially confirmed fictional characters on the spectrum, but apparently, despite Rick Sanchez confirming he’s on the spectrum in the Season 3 finale, he’s not on the list.
