Do you think all the discoveries are popping out from nowhere? Of course not. Nature is complete. If people do not have idea about certain things in nature that means they are not mature to understand them. Even today, perhaps people are watching directly to some of natures undiscovered phenomena but because they have no understanding of them, therefore they do not notice. Perhaps people in future would look at CANCER and AIDS like you are now looking at blisters and scabs today. So do not undermine early people for whom blisters and scabs had different meaning, which was not as much enriched as it is today.
I'm saying ancient people knew scabs caused numbness because 1) They experienced scabs. 2) Numbness is a lack of sensation, it's not a discovery.
The quran gives no knowledge of numbness, of sensation or of anything. It just describes a punishment of repeated skin burning.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
