We have fusion power. Big fucking yellow thing in the sky. All we need is the ambition to build something like the power stations from many Isaac asimov stories. The is mostly there or can be developed, all we need is ambition. Hell we have generations of the brightest minds that grew up dreaming of shit like that, its like catnip for them, all we need to give them resources.
