The question is whether or not they are banned for good reasons. I think it's fairly easy to make the case that 1) Making non-addictive recreational drugs legal will be largely positive 2) There exists a fairly atrocious and illogical double standard that can allow alcohol to be legal but not weed, LSD and ecstasy, all of which are less harmful in terms of social impact, physical health and addictiveness
