I've been hearing lately about "natural" or "green" burial and it appeals to me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_burial
I wouldn't mind having my body do some good after my demise, but I don't feel like I 'should' make it available for whatever utilitarian purpose others may put it to. I'm not enough of an exhibitionist to want it pumped full of plastics and creatively dissected for public display. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodies:_The_Exhibition Though I might feel differently if I had a body that deserved more recognition, but I doubt it. I realize as Cato says that whatever objections I may have will be irrelevant once I'm dead but the living will be less distressed to know they are doing what I would have wanted when alive.
So attention everyone. When the time comes, I do desire that all the lovely molecules which have served me so well be made available for uptake into living things.
