In most cases the answer seems to be, don't sweat the small stuff unless there is a victim.
The truth is that we make our own choices, and religious people tend to credit a god with those good choices. All along though, those religious people were making their own choices to do good or to not do good, which is exactly how atheists live their lives, too. We are not arrogant about it, it just is an everyday life ...thing. If I have good credit, I don't skip down the street thanking a god. lol I did it. No one else.
But, religious people will praise a god for what they themselves are accomplishing.
