Not that I agree with the general tone of the OP's original post because I don't, but statistically speaking yes there is a lot of data backing up some of his claims. To begin with most violent crime is intraracial. White violent criminals tend to prey on white victims and black violent criminals tend to prey on black victims. The US population is about 72.5% white and about 12.5% black yet the number of both violent crime victims and offenders are pretty close to even. If you break the numbers down you'll find that blacks are 5 to 6 times more likely than whites to be both a victim and an offender of a violet crime. Nothing said is false but why is any of it relevant? Most crimes are intraracial because people are more likely to be close and hang with people who are of the same race, and in most countries there's a higher ethnic group in each village, city, region, etc - So I'm sure there's areas in New York (random example) where most people are black, and areas where most people are white, etc - Obviously this results in higher intraracial crime not to mention that many serious crimes are mostly committed against family relatives, close friends, etc - None of that really has any relevance against Blacklivesmatter.

I don't think these numbers have any relevance to the Blacklivesmatter movement. I think Blacklivesmatter is specific in that they are protesting police violence against blacks which is disproportional to their demographic. However the OP made a claim,

and Abaris asked if there was any data to back it up.
