Even when I tried my best, and got it up to a d, my dad is like "you expect me to be happy about that?" Though as long as he didn't come after me with a belt, I guess it was a win for me.
I suck at not giving hugs to pretty much total strangers. Money, time, work, love. Like, the above here? I want to hug Chad (of all people, amiright? (I'm serious, though. ))
And that goes extra for family, and extra for friends. I'm operating on a different kind of budget this year, but there is still a HEAVY portion of that going into the 'helping others' category.
It's gotten to the point that I will either have to become a therapist (and get PAID to help people, when I'm not volunteering and out doing it on the goddamned streets)... or my jobs will always be detracted from with the sheer scale of how far I would take this kind of thing. I'd end up earning no money, too many people to help XD And only real way to get help to them is legislative, but that skillset isn't in my repertoire, and won't be until I'm some kinda fairly odd parental nutter.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
