Ok say you/loved one is dying. You can't afford the surgery/treatment. Bank robber just so happens to scurry up to your door, "hey hide me, and half this million dollars is yours." Now all u have to do when the cop is doing a door to door is lie. Just make sure you have the money in hand then either let him walk or sing like a blue bird.
So, the bank (or who ever is insuring them, probably taxpayers) gets hurt financially, the person committing the crime goes undetected/unpunished and probably goes on to commit more crimes and you benefit from these actions. Sorry, not on board at all.
