Send who a check, exactly? I give money to my Church because I believe in the faith and I believe in the cause. Is everyone who has worked in the Church a good person? No. Do I believe they are working to eliminate the problem? Yes. You guys are acting as though the faith "approves" of having sex with children. It does not. Just because there have been nasty people in the Church Hierarchy who don't follow Church teaching about sexuality or human dignity, and end up doing heinous things like having sex with kids, doesn't mean the Church is forever tainted and inherently evil.
If you want to take that as me "approving" the sexual molestation of kids, then go ahead I guess. I don't know why you or anyone else here would associate with anyone who ya'll thought actually supported such a disgusting act, though.
