Exactly. If your goal is inebriation, any cheap shit will do. If you're drinking it for the pleasure of enjoying it, quantity doesn't matter much.

I had a bottle of small-batch single malt that Kitty gave me as a gift last over a year. I don't think I ever had more than one drink at a sitting.
