No joke. That's really where "Doctor Dino", as he used to call himself, got his degree. A split-level Ranch that was a "diploma mill".
Not to mention that his toilet paper 'dissertation' which bought him his cookie-cutter degree is a massive slap in the face to everyone who has worked their arses off actually to earn a real one.

Even back when I was in college 16 years ago, Hovind was already notorious for having edited/altered his "thesis" something like four times, a major no-no for a real thesis. It's just not possible, once submitted.
It really is like he's urinating on the shoes of real scientists. (And anyone else who has earned a legitimate doctorate.)

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
