Mavericks are independent, unorthodox, and often extremely openminded.
Renegades are disloyalists, people who don't stay the course for their end of deals, and typically feature 'I got mine' interpersonal attitudes.
So.... if someone renegades on their initial maverick motions... then yeah, they'd probably be a conformist (by action), regardless of what they call themselves.
