You atheists say that there is no purpose in life. I may agree but there must be a purpose because if there is not whats the point of it. You say life came from chemical interaction but how the hell could chemicals create human beings. It seems like a fairy tale to me. If chemicals did create life then for what purpose , what do the chemicals get out of it. Now then a biggy. Whats the driving force for these chemicals to create life. People who are suffering with cancer, I want to know why theese chemicals are hurting them so badly. it put me offf believing in the goodness of a god. They did not ask to be born. When you look around the world do you see a goodness in a god i dont and i know you dont either.War hate murder illness rule this world. No a god does not exist but maybe the devil rules instead.
Who says atheists say there is no purpose to life?
I have plenty of purpose in my life. I just choose what that purpose is.
I don't get theists. Most of them would not let an authority figure pick their careers, their spouses, their hobbies, their diet, their musical tastes, etc, etc.
Yet, when it comes to the most important thing, you feel it is necessary for some authority figure to pick your purpose.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
