Alex Garneschelli (sp?) recipe for candied bacon is rather difficult to pull off (bacon cooks unevenly for me) but the results are still yummy.
Also, cut extra thick bacon slices in thirds.
Wrap each piece around a lil' smokie cocktail wiener, secure with toothpick
put 40 or so in a baking pan, and evenly cover with 1 cup brown sugar*
IIRC, it bakes for around an hour at 350. You want the bacon done, but not overly crisp, of course. Don't burn the burn sugar either.
Yep, it's a VERY greasy mess to eat, and it undoubtedly is EXTREMELY bad for your heart and blood vessels.

*I usually just weigh brown sugar, I never know how much force they allow for in packing it. In this case, I get out the kitchen scale and weigh out 7 ounces.
