In NZ it's fairly non-discriminatory, not "friendly" because of our Kiwi "Tough Bloke" mentality, but it's balanced out by our "who gives a fuck" attitude
So in that regard people might be like "Eww homo" but when asked if we should stop them getting married and having kids it's largely "not my business, let them do what they like".
We've got "Civil Unions" here, identical to marriage in all but title, I've never asked a gay person if that pisses them off that they're labelled differently, I'd assume it would if I was in their position. Gay adoption here is on par with the norm.
