There was some post in here where I answered it and said that many stereotypes are false, but some are absolutely true. Jewish mothers? Well...I'm not neurotic for nothing.
Yes, I've heard that the "Jewish mother" jokes are basically true. Reminds me of another one:
A Jewish mother gives her daughter two sweaters on her birthday. The daughter tells her mother how beautiful they are and how much she loves them! To show the mother how happy she is, the daughter takes the sweaters and runs into the bedroom. A minute later she comes out proudly wearing one of the sweaters.
Her mother scowls at the daughter and says, "So the other one you didn't like?".
Quote:Although mine has been "mellowing", shall we say, with age? Somewhat...sorta...I have a feeling once my little brother has moved out, she'll have nothing to do and BAM it'll be back to picking at her eldest. [sigh]
That's why they have caller ID!
