You can find all manners of quacks and cranks on google. From people healing cancer with prayer - to perpetual motion machine scams. Google won't do the critical thinking for you, although you can also easily google "binaural beats scepticism", or something.

What does "using one's brain" mean? Brains do all sorts of things - a lot of them subconsciously. I don't know how exactly you can tell who uses their brains to what extent "throughout the day" - and there sure as hell isn't anything "obvious" about it.
Whenever something appears so obvious to you, that you don't think it requires research, or evidence - it's a good sign you might be wrong.
