As others have said already, you will have to familiarize yourself with the idea of evolution via natural selection before you can even ask intelligent questions about it. Once you understand it, it becomes pretty obvious, and once it becomes obvious, you'll be able to answer your own questions. In the meantime, you'll probably develop a few questions while you learn about it (assuming you do). Don't be afraid to ask those questions. As you hopefully noticed, there were a few perfectly valid answers amongst the mockery and ridicule (which was pretty minimal, honestly).
