I'm somewhat overweight (6'0", 240), though I have a fairly broad body. I'm really just trying to lose weight and maintain (rather than gain) strength; during an average week I'll 1) run 1-2 miles 3 or 4 times, 2) stationary bike 5-10 miles 2 or 3 times, and 3) spend a half hour on the weight machines 2 or 3 times. And it's all thanks to my local YMCA!
