I am going to pedantically point out that pointing out spelling mistakes

Overusing the words "point out" / "pointing out". A better way of constructing that sentence would have been: I am going to pedantically point out that correcting mistakes (typos included)...

for this thread is pointlessly pedantic, so it therefore is important to THIS thread perhaps - because perhaps arguably a pointlessly pedantic thing to point out is perhaps more important in a thread that is deliberately made to be pointlessly pedantic.

There is no such thing as "pointlessly pedantic", especially in a thread created for the sole purpose of being pedantic.

Just because I'm pedantic, I'm taking 10 points off EvF, and adding 30 onto my own.
