In my post I pointed out some things in the Bible that they often overlook.
While it is true that the bible does not exactly say how old the earth is, from my reading of it, the earth's age according to it is quite young and nowhere near the age estimated by scientists which is 4.6 billion years or so.
Also Jesus himself talked about humans being present at the "beginning of creation". Hence ironically as an "Strong Atheist" I side with the Young Earth Creationists when it comes to what the bible tells about the age of the earth being quite young. Mind you I don't consider it to be accurate history of the earth of a book written by Iron Age people who believed the the earth was flat, that sky was a dome held up by mountains and the stars as windows on that dome
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
