If there are multiple universes they exist for the same reason this one does; they were created by God. I think that there are probably other universes because God in infinite and it doesn't seem likely to me that he would be satisfied to create only one universe.


His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
