He'll start losing big donors with all of this nonsense, though. They want to put their money behind someone who can win the general election, and you sure as shit can't get the swing voters by being a total lunatic.
It's all moot anyway. We have so long until the election that this point in the campaign is pretty worthless. Remember, Michelle Bachman was the front runner at this point last time.
