Would you want to play a Sim game with everyone acting the same? Where's the fun in that?
But I'm jumping a train I wanted to miss. There we go again, bickering over god. That's why theists always keep saying, we're angry at god, since we're talking about him as if he was real. God is only the masturbation of his followers.
The intention of such statements as I posted above, is only to get theists to recognize the absurdity of their beliefs, if they are claiming their god has the 'omni' attributes.
Maybe from now on, to make it clearer, I should always put "god" in quotes, in order to clarify I am talking about the "god" they are claiming exists. Not that I am arguing against said "god's" behavior, rules or policies.
Of course things that do not exist, can not be the cause of anything.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
