No one knows, scientists and clergy alike. But feel free to speculate. My imagination is drawn to a multiverse of cellular universes. When one pops the materials go into its neighbors. But where did all that galactic soap bubbles come from? At some point you you just have to admit you don't know. (So much more intellectually honest than just chirping goddidit.)

There isn't any need to disprove what has never been demonstrated to begin with.
Of course anyone who is impressed with these sorts of arguments are not likely to be atheists anyway.
