To me kudos = agreement, but that could be limiting. It is a thumbs up though, so think about if you were standing there listening to him say that.... would you be like, right on man! well said! while showing obvious approval by pointing your thumb skywards? Ok, maybe ironically, and then you would give a scathing retort... as you already did!
