I'm going to risk some female agro here.
Being a female in the late teens and twenties has extreme sexual advantages. An average female could go to a bar, the street, a church, or work and pick any single guy of any adult age and say "you...me...my place... tonight" 90% chance she gets what she wants. 90% chance a guy doing the same thing won't.

I really don,'t think the average female has any idea of what the sexual frustration of man is like.
That said a reasonable man would not go shooting people. A reasonable man would look at himself to see what it is about himself that can be changed. This is what i did and it was a long but successful journey . These men were not reasonable at all.
If society is at fault it is, in my opinion, due to lack of education in understanding oneself and the reaction his or her inner thinking has on his outer world and how others treat him/her. Our school systems are so bent on teaching useless trivia or only work related things that they forget the foundation of this is how the person feels about themselves and how clearly one sees reality.
Self confidence, esteem and attention to the present can be learned but our system is severely lacking in this.
