Theists debating Atheists

I can't figure out why a hardcore apologetic theist would want to keep trolling a bunch of Atheists. What is the pleasure in it for them? They sound retarded so the joke is on them.

I have trolled Christian sites before. It's easy and funny to trip them up. It's not easy to be the Theist trolling an Atheist site. Do they just like the abuse? Do they think they will change minds?

Oh yeah, this thread is not directed at any individual but rather is a general question.

I wonder if you have thought of their perspective.  You say you have trolled theist sites and it's easy and fun to trip them up.  Did you ever think, these trolling theists also think the exact same thing about atheists?  Just because you're not convinced, doesn't mean they don't think they got you.   

Also think about the theists on the sites you troll, do you think they are convinced by your points?  I honestly think you have more in common than you think.  You both do the same thing and think the same about the opposite position, you are just playing for different teams
