The question actually relates to creating a model to see if it explains our reality. It works along the lines of "if this were true, what would we expect to see?" with the follow up question, "is that what we see in the real world?"
In this case, we have two model universes to consider:
1. One in which Allah is real
2. One in which Allah is a made up god.
In the model universe where Allah (and YHWH) is a made up god, we would expect to find the origin of the faith at a specific place in the world and the religion only spread through human efforts.
When we look at reality, this is exactly the universe we find. Reality conforms to the model in which Allah is a made up god.
