And the lack of evidence is so we can determine our lives in a way that would not be possible otherwise. Once again, I did not say anything about evolution, holy books, or whatever else most of you guys are used to hearing.

Technically I've not rejected God as I've never been approached by him. I know there are many who believe who like us all to join them in that. But I don't hand out my belief just to be friendly. To believe something, for me, is to believe that it is true. To want something to be true, I'd say I "wish it were true", not "believe it was true". But I neither want for there to be a god nor have any good reason to believe that there is a god. So yep. Guess that makes me what you call an atheist. I just call it being a human being without supernatural beliefs. Whatever.
