As an aside: hatred is almost always a wasted emotion, especially when spent on a stranger.

Worse than that: hatred is a sign of weakness.  If you hate the whole world, it simply means that you aren't strong enough, or versatile enough, to thrive in it.  So when someone comes into, say, a forum thread spewing vitriol and bile, it's clear to everyone but the person himself that it's due to insecurity and self-loathing-- not to superiority.

A truly superior person rarely has to assert his superiority, any more than he has to assert the color of his eyes.
