Why do Atheists defend Islam?

I don't know what the difference is between shitting on its doctrines and harming good Muslims with hateful words. What about saying they idiotically believe in some blood thirsty imaginary friend cooked up by a 7th century barbarian who raped a 9 year old?

Sure, say that. But look at your motive as to why you would take the time to say that about them. Is there some hidden agenda there as well against Muslims themselves? Or is it really to do with seeing Muhammad as a barbarian? If so, why not talk that way about Jews as well?

I'd talk that way about Yahweh any day. I agree with the infamous Dawkins quote where he unashamedly declares Yahweh the worst monster in all of fiction. And I think Jesus sucks and he is actually not even remotely compassionate like many atheists seem to concede, mainly because of all the hell fire stuff.

If what I said is true, it's true. Not really sure why my motives matter, do brown people get special treatment or something? Do they need to be handled with kidgloves that white people don't? Not even all Muslims are brown. I'm not big on the whole white guilt thing.
