Be merry

I'm back for a few minutes to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy prosperous New Year and for the Christians here I'm wishing you a Christ filled Christmas and New year, we need to remember Christ is for a life time not just Dec. 25th. To the nonbelievers remember that this season wouldn't be if not for Christ and even though you do not believe in Him you must admit much love and peace comes with this season.

Not really.  I mean, yeah, we all pretend that this is a time of love and peace but all evidence points to the contrary.  It brings out the worst in people.  It breeds selfishness and greed in children.  It promotes false generosity from people who normally wouldn't give you a nickle to feed your starving baby.  It's the highest time of the year for suicides and families are often at eachother's throats.  Meanwhile, where are the teachings of Jesus christ?  They're nowhere to be found in practice.  All we hear is the vein glory of dimwit after dimwit reading from Luke 2 and professing his love of things he never practices throughout the year.  

So what is peace, it's not the absences of conflict it is the ability to deal will all conflict and Christ can and will give us all, this ability.

Except he hasn't has he.  We have more conflict right now than we have had in years and it's YOUR fellow christians who want to deny refuge for millions because you can't practice the teachings of your precious Messiah.  Where's that love and peace again??  Oh thats right, there is none and your Jesus said as much in Matthew 10:34  "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."

I have challenged someone every year to buy a copy of the DVD called the Star of Bethlehem, it's about that famous star that was foretold signifying Christ's birth, so was it real? This year I challenge all even the Christians here, so far no one's been brave enough to accept this challenge, maybe this will be the year that someone steps up and takes the challenge. Love you guys.

I have Ancient Aliens on DVD.  Does that make it real?  Whatever man.
Also, Jesus may be the reason for your season, but he is not mine.  I don't worship dead jews and every year I have a Solstice celebration.  If it wasn't for your religion, we as a human race would still be celebrating in this way.  That being said, I have no problem wishing you and others a very Merry Christmas.

You want to worship Jesus, feel free, but for christ's sake, could you leave us alone to be merry in our own way.
