Anyone like Manhattan Transfer?

1.  I like Manhattan Transfer.

2.  Vernon Reid is not better than Jimi Hendrix, but you're perfectly entitled to that opinion.  In fact, there are a helluva lot of guitar plays much more technically proficient than Reid - BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Thorogood and Clapton fairly leap to mind.  On the other hand, if you meant to say that you prefer Reid to Hendrix, I get it.  I prefer BB King to Hendrix, but Jimi Hendrix was clearly the better musician.

I am not taking away from Hendrix at all. I am saying Reid if all things were equal and things panned out differently at the QM level, Reid should have been on top as well, but with every aspect of life, competition does not allow every talented person to get as high. I think both are top notch but times and circumstances lead to different outcomes.

I think if you put both at the same starting point, at the same time Reid under similar circumstances would have done the same or better. I think he'd blow away Hetfield too.
