How to write limericks so well that they come easy
Instead of him filling this thread on these forums
With his rhymes so full of such rhythmic problems
Not to mention when you read them they make you feel quite queasy.
Ack - boy, you win, I'm all limerick-ed out yet again. I tried a response - - but I fail before I begin.
There are general rules for limericks, but people break 'em all the time. Two lines of 8 syllables, two of 5 or 6, then one line of 8. Give or take a few either way. You've got the rhyme pattern down.
Rocket and Crossless are much better than I am, mine don't work so well either.
Just look up a few online, and there are some great rhyming dictionary sites, you know, like http://www.rhymezone.com/.
But hey, I like your rhymes. We're just having some fun here.
