I used to do that too, but it's not very conducive to conversation to do so if you get in that habit. You wouldn't like it if you talked to someone and then they changed a post you replied to and you suddenly look like a fool. We already have the option to save our posts as drafts and work on them, editing your post once it's posted is best for spelling and grammar mistakes.
